Clean Energy Insights For The Global South

We provide clean energy insights for countries and regions that are often overlooked. By leveraging our data and modeling capabilities, we bridge knowledge gaps between governments, project developers, financing partners and more.

Tailored, Regional Analysis Across The Energy Value Chain

In order to push the energy transition forward, we need detail. Countries in the global south are too often grouped together, erasing key societal, economic, technological, and cultural differences. Accounting for these details is what makes our insights valuable, providing actionable ideas and recommendations for stakeholders across the value chain.

Our Work

Decoding India's Green Hydrogen Transition
ORF Final Paper.png

We model green hydrogen production costs throughout India using 15 years of solar and wind data. With these results we consider the financial challenges associated with India's green hydrogen transition and possible solutions they may implement.

This paper was written for ORF America, with funding from the ClimateWorks Foundation.

Transition's Harvest: The Economics of Green Hydrogen Use For Fertilizer Production in Kenya
Transition's Harvest Cover Pic_edited.png

We model green hydrogen, ammonia, and fertilizer production costs in Kenya to quantify and outline the financing barriers that must be overcome in order for Kenya to achieve its hydrogen goals.  We breakdown component cost of hydrogen and its derivatives, allowing funders, policy makers, and others to understand where political and economic solutions are best placed.

The full paper will be made publicly available after initial stakeholder outreach is completed.

Our Services

Often, clean energy insights begin and end without fully considering market dynamics, policy environments, and economic contexts. At Clearview, this is where we begin. By starting with a thorough analysis of market conditions, we can clearly identify key roadblocks that need to be addressed. This approach allows us to develop tailored strategies that not only overcome these challenges but also leverage opportunities for growth and innovation in the clean energy sector. Our comprehensive understanding of the broader context ensures that our insights are practical, forward-thinking, and capable of driving meaningful progress.
